Distinguishing features

Females reddish anteriorly with a white patch below eye, greenish posteriorly with white saddles on either side of third dorsal fin. A broken green ring around the eye. Males more boldly coloured: red anteriorly, dark posteriorly, with a large dark patch on lower head to base of pectoral fin.
