Distinguishing features

This species was reported by McCormack and Cotoras (2021) as Megacephala. Subsequently, David H. Kavanaugh (California Academy of Sciences; through Darko Cotoras) notes that it is a species of Pseudotetracha, an endemic Australian genus formed from part of the widespread genus Megacephala.
