Animalia:
species: Bodianus diana
is found only in the Indian Ocean according to Gomon (2006). All previous records of that name from the Lizard Island area are probably Bodianus dictynna.
Comments
Formerly known as a widespread species, Bodianus diana. Gomon (2006) found that Bodianus diana is restricted to the Indian Ocean and described Bodianus dictynna for the Pacific Ocean species.
