Distinguishing features

Very similar to Ophiothrix (Acanthophiothrix) sp. 1 in size, proportions, arms spines, disc armament and habitat. Differs in colouration, having a broad yellow/green midline on the arms rather than a pair of narrow dark lines bordering a pale midline. They may well be colour variations of the same species. Microscopic examination of specimens is needed.
