Small, transparent species with numerous white dots. Orange ovaries visible in the body of adult females. Underside of tail covered with spines.

Roy Caldwell provided LIRS with a list of stomatopods he collected at Lizard Island between 1986 and 1997. It includes Pullosquilla thomassini with the note: "burrows in sand, 2 - 20 m, larvae".
