Distinguishing features

A moderately sized jellyfish with a crown of pointed appendages on the bell.

This tentative identification is based on similarity to many images of Netrostoma setouchianum on the web. However, that species does not appear to have been recorded in Australia yet (Atlas of Living Australia accessed 1 Feb 2019).
