Distinguishing features

A species of Halimeda with relatively large segments that are lightly calcified and not shiny.

Possibly Halimeda fragilis based on similarity to the photograph provided by Huisman (2019, page 366). Huisman notes that the species is widespread in the tropical Indo Pacific. However, there are no known records of that species from Lizard Island as at Aug 2021.
