Distinguishing features

A slender snake up to 1 metre long with very large eyes and round pupils. Dark green/grey/brown above with a black streak from snout through eye to body and pale yellow below.

These snakes can move quickly within trees. They are active during the day and harmless.

  • Up to 100 cm (overall length, Wilson and Swan, 2010)
