Local abundance
- Lizard Island, Queensland, Australia: Two indivduals were present around the Lizard Island Research station for several weeks in mid 2004. The species had not been recorded on the island before and it has not been seen since at LIRS. The Atlas of Living Australia has a single record for the species at Lizard Island in May 2005, and also from nearby Nymph Island from 1984 (accessed 8 April 2012).
