Comments

A specimen of this small squid was spat out by a fish caught at 600 metres depth off Tydeman Reef, Princess Charlotte Bay, Queensland, by a commercial fisher. It was sent to the Australian Museum and identified by Dr Mandy Reid. Mandy notes that the species is not uncommon in the area.
