A huge number of beetle Lomaptera australis appeared suddenly in Terminalia arenicola trees about one week after the first decent rain of the wet seas (i.e. on about 10 Jan 2015). They were mixed with many shiny brown beetles of similar size, as yet unphotographed and unidentified.
