Photo of Animalia: species: Elamena sp.

Elamena sp., carapace width estimated at 3-4 mm, on underside of Holothuria (Thymiosycia) impatiens which was found under a granite slab exposed at extreme low tide near South Island, Lizard Island Group. Note Star Sand (foraminiferan) on carapace. Thanks to Dr Shane Ahyong (Australian Museum) for the identification.
