Comments

This is the only rare/endangered plant species known from Lizard Island according to Andrew Colvill, QPWS ranger, (personal communication to Anne Hoggett, 5 Nov 2004).

However, Atlas of Living Australia (accessed 9 Feb 2018) lists it as of Least Concern and has several records from Lizard Island including from Cook's Look identified by George batianoff. Clear sap, red berries. Accepted name is now Tinospora esiankara.
