Lizard Island: Very uncommon. Atlas of Living Australia (accessed 5 Aug 2018) lists only one record of the species from Lizard Island from 1979. The record here from One Tree Coconut Beach appears to be the only subsequent observation.
Turtle Group: Common on the strandline on some of the Turtle Group islands.
