Local abundance

  • Lizard Island: Very uncommon. Atlas of Living Australia (accessed 5 Aug 2018) lists only one record of the species from Lizard Island from 1979. The record here from One Tree Coconut Beach appears to be the only subsequent observation.
  • Turtle Group: Common on the strandline on some of the Turtle Group islands.
