Distinguishing features

A shrub often with multiple stems bearing large leaves up to 1 metre long, bi- or tripinnate, leaflets with toothed margins.

It was recorded from Lizard Island Island by Specht et at (1973) as Leea indica, a valid species that does not appear to occur in Australia (Atlas of Living Australia, accessed 8 Jul 2023).
